Diocesan WYD 2023 (Gatineau)

The Holy Father has chosen the themes for the two World Youth Days that will be celebrated in the dioceses in 2023 and 2024, on the Solemnity of Christ the King, as part of the preparations for the Jubilee of Youth, within the framework of the Great Jubilee of 2025, "Pilgrims of Hope". The theme of the 38th World Youth Day, to be celebrated in 2023, is "Rejoicing in hope" (Romans 12,12). Pope Francis is inviting young people to deepen their understanding of Christian hope and to bear joyful witness to the fact that Christ is alive.

So there will be a diocesan Mass for all the young people in our diocese. As was the case last year, all the young people of the diocese are warmly invited to this celebration (young teenagers, young adults, students, young people on the job market, waiting for a job, etc.).

At the same time, our diocese will be launching a Diocesan Youth Ministry Table on Sunday 26 November, the feast of Christ the King of the Universe. This is a round table that will accompany the various experiences of youth groups in walking together throughout this pastoral year.

The event will be held at the parish of St François-de-Sales (799 Rue Jacques-Cartier, Gatineau, QC J8T 2W1) from 3pm to 6pm

We look forward to seeing you there.
